RJA #15b: Reflection on What You Learned
This class was very interesting, I learned a lot on research and that there are many other search engins besides google and yahoo. I also learned about blogging and sometimes can be very helpfull and other people are out there that are interested in what you are too. Though most of what I learned came from my research paper. I learned a lot on serial killers motivies, styles and types, which is a very interesting subject to me. I am glad to have a class that would allow us to write about the things that interest us. I was also happy to have been able to share my research with the class during presintations and learning about other things as well.

RJA #11a: Introduction
In today’s society there is much talk about murder and how common it is, specifically Serial Killers. More and more people are becoming intrigued with this. Some out of fear some because it is interesting. Mainly, people want to know what posses an individual to commit such acts of violence. Serial Killers are a result in psychopathic behaviors stemming from childhood and the way they were treated as children. Or could this simply be genetic? Through this paper you will find examples on behaviors that result in the creation of serial killers dating back to early childhood years.
RJA #10b: Argument
My argument is about how serial killers develop. Is it genetic or they way the individual was raised (nature vs. nurture). I will talk about individual serial killers and the way they were raised as well as what they have in common.
RJA #10a: Thesis Statement
My reasurch question is: what creates Serial Killers?
Thesis Statement:
Serial Killers are a result in psychotic behaviors of killing stemming from childhood and the way they were treated as children.

The main one and usually the only search engine I use is Google. This is very easy to use and has formed a habit to use. Google also provides what you are looking for with in the first 5 listings. If you don’t exactly know what you are looking for Google usually knows. the only thing about Google is there are so many hits that are returned and after the first 2 pages they are usually irrelevant.

research topic eng122
I think that my topic on Serial Killers is a fairly easy topic to argue. I want to research the reasons behind what makes a serial killer. Is it nature vs. nurture? I will start by identifying the theories behind what makes up a serial killer. I will also identify 4 main serial killers that have made history and what if anything do they have in common. I think I would need to nerrow it just a bit in order to focuse on the argument. I will start by researching indivduals and find there common factor.

Research topic
The topic I have chosen to research is on the psychological aspect on what creates a Serial Killer. I have chosen this topic because I believe something in our lives helps us to become what we are. This is also a fascinating topic to me and I would like to learn more. When I started reading books on and about Serial Killers is when I got interested in them.
Everyday individuals walk around; go to work, and many other things. However, it would be hard to know if there was a stalker or Serial Killer walking right be side you. To be honest there is not a whole lot I know about what makes a killer. I can only figure there was something that happened in that person’s life they could not let go of. When trying to understand where a serial killer comes from you must understand their past.
I am hoping to learn more about what makes killing so exciting to serial killers. Also, what do each killer have in common along with what are the different techniques and why. Mainly I want to learn more on the psychological thinking of serial killers.
